We hope you have a wonderful 4th of July.  Here is your guide to the Firework Shows located in Ventura County.

The 4th of July, 1776 known as Independence Day, we celebrate the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation.

This year fireworks are planned in Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Ventura, Westlake Village, Channel Islands Harbor, Santa Paula, Fillmore, Camarillo and Ojai.

Simi Valley (2 day event)

• Stars & Stripes Fireworks Festival will take place at Rancho Santa Susana Park

• Monday July 3rd - gates will open from 3pm-10pm.  Admission will be $5 and children under 5 are free.  There will be carnival rides, live music and food.  

• July 4th - gates open at noon.  There will be no admission fee on this day.  

• This years fireworks will be launched from Simi Valley High School (only the launching site, no viewing from Simi High) .  Viewing will be a Rancho Santa Susana Park.

• Firework show will start at 9pm

Thousand Oaks

• Thousand Oaks 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular will launch from Hillcrest Center of the arts.

• Viewing will be available from the Janss Marketplace parking lot and The Oaks Mall parking lot.

• Janss mall will be offering free live music and family entertainment starting at 5pm.

• Fireworks will start at 9:00pm

Moorpark (3rd of July)

• 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza located at Arroyo Vista Park

• Gates open at 5pm with live music, entertainment, games and family fun.  

• Admission is $5 with children 4 and under free.

• Fireworks will start at 9pm

Westlake Village

• 4th Annual Fireworks Spectacular Show will be held at Westlake Village Golf Course.

• Additional viewing will be available at Westlake Village Inn, Berniece Bennett Park and Calvary Community Church.

• Gates open at 6pm with games and food trucks

• Firework show will start at 9:10pm

Camarillo

• 4th of July Fireworks and Family Fun Day will be located at Camarillo High School.

• Gates open at 4pm with live music, food and family activities.

• Admission is $2 with children 5 and under free

• Fireworks will start at 9pm

Channel Islands Harbor

• 20th Annual Fireworks by the Sea located at the Channel Islands Harbor.

• All day event with a parade starting at 10:30am followed by live music, entertainment and more.

• Fireworks will start at 9pm

Santa Paula

• Santa Paula Firework Show will be held at Harding Park.

• Fireworks will start at 9pm

Fillmore

• City of Fillmore Firework Show will be at Fillmore Middle School.

• The 31st Annual Sespe Creek Car show will start at 9am to 3pm

• Fireworks will start at 9:15pm

Ventura

• 4th Annual Fireworks Show and Family Picnic will be held at Ventura College Athletic Field.

• Gates open at 5pm with live music, family picnic and kids fun zone.

• Fireworks will start at 9pm

Ojai

• The City of Ojai Firework Show will take place at Nordhoff High School

• Gates open at 5pm for stadium seating

• Fireworks will start at 9:15pm
